After entering the transmitter(s), you can add Areas and Sectors. This is very similar to the Areas and Zones for the Event Monitoring systems, sectors replace zones and relate directly to the access control system.
Areas
Areas as they relate to Access Control like they are in Event Monitoring, represent a physical area at the location protected by the access control system.
Adding an area
- Click Add.
- Enter the Area number.
- Enter the Description of the protected Area name.
Schedules are created after the new customer and would not be available to link at this point.
Sectors
Sectors, much like Zones, are the more specific locations within an access control system such as a door or access point.
Adding Sectors
- Enter the numeric value of the Sector.
- Enter the Description.
- Repeat as required.
When the Areas and Sectors are entered as expected, click Next.
