Manitou has a specific set of instructions for finding the Zone or Point ID description that displays to alarm operators and within the customer activity log.
- If the Point ID Description within the Customer Transmitter Programming exists:
- Manitou assigns the Point ID associated with that event.
- If there is no associated Point ID in the Customer Transmitter Programming
- Manitou looks at the Customer Zones to find the description that matches the event zone.
- If there is no associated Point ID in the Customer Transmitter Programming
- Manitou assigns the Point ID associated with that event.
- If the Point ID Description within the Customer Transmitter Programming does NOT exist and DOES exist in the assigned Transmitter type:
- Manitou presents the description found in the Customer Zones
- If there is no description in the Customer Zones.
- Manitou presents the Point ID of the event in the Transmitter Type form
- If there is no description in the Customer Zones.
- Manitou presents the description found in the Customer Zones
- If the Point ID Description Programming does NOT exist either at the Customer or Transmitter programming:
- Manitou returns the zone description on the Customer Zones form, if it exists.
