RestRq (Event, Zone, Timeout)

The RestRq(Event,Zone,Timeout,Restored,Repeat) command defines the requirement of a restore for the event and, when applicable, zone.  Used often for Fire events on Commercial accounts.

Command Parameters

  • Event - Determines which event restores the alarm.  Using a asterisk (*) looks for any restoring event in the SAME event category.
  • Zone - Defines which zone restores the alarm.  Using an asterisk (*) looks for any zone with the restoring event.
  • Timeout - Length of time, in minutes, to wait for the restoring event to arrive.
  • Restored - Determines if ONLY the alarm zone or all zones must be restored in order to restore the event.
  • Repeat - When enabled, this determines if the Restore Overdue generates, should the timeout reset and repeat the Restore Overdue event.
