Dealer Billing

Manitou Dealer Billing for monitoring operations helps automate and streamline the often complex process of managing billing between monitoring companies, dealers, and their customers. It centralizes the invoicing process by automatically generating accurate bills based on services provided, ensuring dealers can efficiently manage their customers' accounts. This ultimately enhances operational efficiency, improves cash flow, and provides dealers with greater visibility into their financial health.

Billing Options for Dealers

Dealer Billing can be by Class Code or by Monitoring Service Billing Code.

  • Class Code bills flat rates based on the Class Code assigned to the customer record.
  • Monitoring Service bills based on the rates assigned to the dealer within their Billing rate tables and assigned Billing codes found on the Monitoring Types services applied to the account record.

The Manitou Options determine if the Monitoring Company is billing by Class Code or Monitoring Service Billing Code.

When billing by Monitoring Services, Manitou calculates the charges by the information entered into the Dealer's Billing Charges card.

Billing Codes are applied to the Monitoring Services within the Supervisor Workstation Monitoring Types form.

Please note, these codes are entered manually when the monitoring company is not actively linked to an Accounting system.  Be careful to set these values equal to what the Accounting system uses.
