Enhanced Scripts

The Enhanced Scripts is a feature that allows automation of specific notifications based on the types of event or change, and allows the creation of User Scripts for use internally within alarm processing.  This 

The Enhanced Scripts are found under the Admin menu.

The Enhanced Scripts listing displays the categories and configured scripts within each category.

Each category allows the creation of an individualize standard script message formatted for automatic notifications.  

  • Event Codes - Any specific Event Codes that require a notice.
  • Event Category 
  • Dispatch - If a monitored location receives a dispatch.  
  • User Script - May be used during alarm processing.  If set to Internal, it is only available for the Monitoring Company.
  • Resolution Code - Based on the Resolution code assigned at the closure of alarms.
  • Account Change - Based on the change made to an account.

Adding an Enhanced Script

  1. Click the Plus (➕) icon.
  2. Choose the value of New or Copy an Existing.   
    1. If Copying an existing, select the one to copy.  
  3. Click DONE.
  4. Select the Section to add the Script.  
  5. Enter a Name of the Script.  Be Clear and Precise.   
  6. If available select the code, category, or change.  
  7. Configure the Script message using the {} codes to insert specific details at the time of the creation when activated.    
    1. If the type is User Script, choose if the event message may be internal.  If internal there is no need to create a script.  
    2. Click Next.
    3. Set the variables for the User Script as needed.  
  8. When done, click DONE.
  9. Save (💾) the record.
