This article details the numbers associated with the person types in Manitou. The Default person type on a customer record is Keyholder (1).

| 0 | Contact - A person with access to the site. May or may not have a key or password. |
| 1 | Keyholder - A person with access to the site and that may respond to the location in the event of an alarm. |
| 2 | Technician - A person responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of an alarm system. |
| 3 | Agent - A person with access to the site who may be a responsible person for a company that also has access to the site. |
| 4 | Janitor - A person who has access to the site to provide learning services to a site. |
| 5 | Person - Any general person with access to the site who may not have specific responsibility for responding to alarms.. |
